Goals  Registration  Practices  Meets  Fees

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team is a member of the Southwest Aquatic League. Other league members include: Bellaire, Southwest United, and West University. Willow has been competing in this league since the mid-1980's. The mascot, Wahoo, was adopted in 1998. The Wahoos were league champions in 2001, 2002, 2022, and 2023.

Swim Team Goals

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team encourages neighborhood youngsters to develop an appreciation for competitive swimming in an environment that stresses good sportsmanship and skill improvement.

Registration

Online swim team registration is available here. To be eligible for swim team, a child must be five years of age by June 1st. Swim team practice will begin Monday May 5th, and will be held daily Monday - Friday

Note: A minimum of one volunteer shift per child is required.

June 4th

(Afternoon Practice)
4:30-5:00pm 5-6 years
5:00-6:00pm 7-8 years
6:00-7:00pm 9-10 years
7:00-8:00pm 11-12 years
8:00-9:00pm 13 and up

June 5th -

Season End

(Morning Practice)
6:30-7:15am Camp kids practice
(Open to all ages)
7:15-8:00am 5-6 years
8:00-9:00am 7-8 years
9:00-10:00am 9-10 years
10:00-11:00am 11-12 years
11:00-noon 13 and up


Night practice is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9pm-10pm for 11 and up

Mon, May 26th: Memorial Day (No Practice!)

Fees

Members:
  $110 for first swimmer, $85 for each sibling.
Non-Members:
  $160 for first swimmer, $110 each sibling
