Willow Wahoo History

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team is a member of the Southwest Aquatic League. Other league members include; Bellaire, Southwest United, and West University. Willow has been competing in this league for over 20 years. The mascot, Wahoo, was adopted in 1998. The Wahoos were league champs in 2001 and 2002.

Swim Team Goals

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team encourages neighborhood youngsters to develop an appreciation for competitive swimming in an environment that stresses good sportsmanship and skill improvement.

Registration

A swim team registration form will be at the pool, and is also available here. To be eligible for swim team, a child must be five years of age by June 1st. Swim team practice will begin Monday May 6th, and will be held daily Monday - Friday

Note: A minimum of one volunteer shift per child is required.

Swim Team Parent Meeting

Meet coaches and ask questions Sunday, May 19th, 7:00 pm at the pool.

Monday, June 24th at West U Rec Center
AT 6:00 PM for 11-17 yr olds

FINALS

Fees

Members:
  $100 for first swimmer, $50 for each sibling.
Non-Members:
  $150 for first swimmer, $100 each sibling
